We arrived in Bentota by tuk-tuk from Wadduwa. Be prepared when you negotiate prices through your driver, the price will double. But I really wanted to dive (dive). And for 130 bucks we agreed on one dive and one snorkeler (my wife). Then we found out that they charge 100 euros for just one snorkeler. We swam to the center and ..... waited, waited and waited until the Indians rode on jet skis. Why did they wait, because one very big Indian woman also decided to become a diver and she was apparently warming up. Well, okay, finally we boarded the boat and, in the full sense of the word, flew along the waves. It turns out that getting out of the river into the ocean is not such an easy task. We arrived at the given point, the guide guys scratched their turnips and said that visibility was zero, let's go to another place. And then I realized how lucky we were, they would have quickly gotten us wet and returned, but they had to work off the money (let me remind you, we had a snorkeler with us for 100 euros). And we rode on the waves to the island, where they began to teach the basics of diving to an Indian woman, and we came out on solid ground and headed out to explore the island (such an unscripted excursion). About forty minutes later the news came that there seemed to be something somewhere (in the sense that there was something to see). What can I tell you...if I saw something at arm's length, that's good, but otherwise I was fighting the current. What did the snorkeler see? It still remains a mystery to me. Only the whole way back he kept telling the guides that he didn’t see anything and wouldn’t pay 100 euros. My wife and I had an exciting 2 hours on the boat trip, and if it weren’t for the wait at the beginning, my rating would have been excellent. Something like this :-)))
