Hikkaduwa

The town of Hikkaduwa is occupied almost entirely by Russian speakers. The foreigners were pushed to Narigama beach, to the waves (there are almost no Russians there). Naturally, all the “delicious” things are concentrated in the center. This includes a market, a train station, shops and restaurants. It has been noticed that this city has the cheapest alcohol, although the price for it is growing every year (beware:-). Even when we vacation in other areas of Sri Lanka, we still return here by bus at least for one day to go to our favorite restaurants, swim in the waves and buy tea. This is a place where you want to return again and again.
