Unawatuna beach

I think it’s a great beach, but not everywhere. Closer to the Buddhist temple, there are many boats close to the shore (flying over heads), and also crowds of locals hang out in this place (they don’t swim, and they don’t allow passage :-). And I like the sand and the shore, the shore is steep and quickly goes under the water (you don’t need to swim far). True, recently, due to human “creativity”, the coast has been eroding. What makes you happy is the abundance of beach restaurants; you won’t be thirsty and you won’t go hungry.
