Mirissa beach, Sri Lanka

📍 Sri Lanka | 🗓 High Season | 📅 10.12.2012 — 21.12.2012
There are not many beaches in Sri Lanka that can boast of such snow-white sand that practically does not heat up in the sun. The beach can be divided into three zones, two of which on the edges are used by surfers, and the central one, the largest, is for lazy travelers. We got to this beach from Unawatuna. The first time was on a tuk-tuk, the so-called familiarization tour, and the second time, already more emboldened, on a local bus. Standard entertainment program, wandering from one lounge bar to another, drinking beer and eating seafood. With a mandatory visit to the washed-out peninsula and a photo shoot. If we had gone here for the third time, we would probably have had to master surfing by now. By the way, we drank drinks in a bar that we had been invited to on the beach in Unawatuna the day before. So the world is small, and the earth is rounder than ever.
