at Lelik's

It’s easy to find this restaurant, a hundred meters along the beach on the right hand of the Villa Ocean hotel. When we lived in this hotel, we went to Lelik for dinner every evening, and sometimes even had lunch. The food here is excellent, seafood cocktails are like salad in a glass, you have to eat it. Natural product drinks. The height of perfection is when the owner personally serves you, then you are guaranteed gifts. The staff doesn’t understand English well, so it’s better to point at the menu, otherwise confusion is possible, like they brought us vermicelli instead of rice, once they wanted to cheat me with arak...me :-) (they brought 50g instead of 100g). But after gesturing with expressions, they corrected themselves. Then the owner arrived and brought a double portion of arrack with fruit as an apology. And it’s a wonderful sheltered place where you can relax. In conclusion, I can say that if I ever want to return to Wadduwa, it will be only for Lelik.
