jungle tour

📍 Wadduwa - Thudugala Falls | 🗓 Excursion Season | 📅 10.12.2012 — 21.12.2012
Group tour: 72.25 $
This waterfall is located in the very jungle. We got here by tuk-tuk through villages and plantations. Charming views. There is no way to get to the waterfall itself, we left the vehicle at the nearest hut and walked up the mountain, passing huge boulders, and suddenly a small lagoon opens into which a stormy river flows in cascades. This is an unexplored waterfall in Sri Lanka, it is located away from the tourist trails, so 99.9% of the time you will be alone here. And what could be more pleasant than taking a dip in cool water after dusty roads? We were there in December, so the river was quite deep, but it didn’t knock us off our feet, so we were able to calmly climb up the cascade. A wonderful place, and the silence is complemented by the murmur of water. If you are in the area of Wadduwa, Bentota, Kalutara, be sure to find a guide and visit this piece of paradise.
P.S. Its coordinates are: This waterfall is located in the village of Thudugala in Dodangoda, in the Kalutara district of the western province. The rank of the waterfall is two hundred and sixty-eight.
