Well, like hunting..., intense gaze into the distance of hundreds of pairs of eyes from all the boats circling like kites over whales. Now whale watching has become technologically advanced (with an echo sounder), but the time to go to sea is still early, at 7 am. In this hunt, not only luck matters, but also the height of the deck; the higher, the farther you can see. The likelihood that a whale will surface next to your boat is not great, and even more so, it’s not easy to capture this moment in a photo (it’s quite possible on video). And although there is little visible from the whales (tail or scallop), overall this event is very exciting (running from side to side). And we must remember, whales are not elephants, they will not pose :-).
